Understanding "In Transit" Status

When your package status says "In Transit," it means your package is on its way to its final destination. It has been scanned at a carrier facility and is currently moving between sorting hubs or is on a delivery vehicle.

Is "In Transit" the same as "Out for Delivery"?

No. "In Transit" means the package is still in the middle of its journey. "Out for Delivery" means it has arrived at the local post office or delivery station and is on the truck to be delivered to your door today.

How long does a package stay in transit?

The time spent in transit depends on the shipping service:

  • Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1-3 business days
  • International Shipping: 7-21 business days

What if my package is stuck in transit?

If your status hasn't updated for more than 5 days (domestic) or 10 days (international), there might be a delay. Common reasons include weather, customs inspection, or high seasonal volume.
